Back with a bang.
Danny Roberts is never in a boring fight and while he might get some enjoyment out of back-and-forth wars, it’s surely much more satisfying to get an early victory.
Roberts got back in the win column on Saturday night with a first-round knockout of Swedish welterweight Oliver Enkamp.
Roberts, who fights out of Liverpool, needed no second invitation to land his crunching left hand on the jaw of his opponent.
After an early feeling out process, Roberts saw an opening in the defence of the karate stylist and sent a devastating left straight down the pipe.

The impact shot through Enkamp’s body and shuddered his blonde locks as momentum spun him around and sent him to his knees.
Referee Leon Roberts didn’t need to see any unnecessary strikes land and immediately jumped in to wave a halt to proceedings.
“I was just trying to size him up. Everybody knows I’m a dog at war. You come wanting to fight with me and I’m going to put you to sleep, simple as that,” Roberts said in his post-fight interview.

“If you want to stand up, this left bomb is going to write people off. Look at what you saw. It happened again tonight.”
It takes a lot to impress top heavyweight boxer Tony Bellew but ‘Hot Chocolate’ managed it with that left hand straight from Merseyside.
Serious left hand that was! He works very hard this man and is a fantastic athlete.. His hard work is paying off 👌👊
