Lionel Messi might be laid off with injury, but that hasn’t stopped him being an absolute legend.
The Barcelona star, who is nursing a knee injury himself, again showed his altruistic side with a gesture for a fellow footballer facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Messi sent a signed Barca shirt to Ezequiel Ham who suffered a horrific leg break after a challenge from Carlos Tevez in Argentinos match against Boca Juniors.
Ham has already had two operations on the break which has left him facing eight months out of the game after Tevez’s tackle.
But it looks like Messi’s gesture made all the difference to the young midfielder, who posted this message of thanks on social media…
