It has been a long time coming, but David Moyes has been relieved of his duties as Real Sociedad manager.
The Scot has endured a difficult start to his second season with the Spanish club, with a Mourinho-esque record of six defeats from the first 11 league games of the season.
And despite some comical delays involving a cancelled flight, the former Manchester United boss is once again looking for work.
There were some positives from his time in San Sebastian
Moyes fired at La Real. Started off very well and seemingly brought some new ideas to the table. Went very stale after that, unfortunantely.

But the decision of the club to move on can’t be considered too harsh.
Fair to say Moyes failed in his move to Real Sociedad.

And it seems as though the club aren’t going to reflect too fondly on his tenure, even if he did keep them in La Liga last season.
Probably would say Moyes is better off for experience, but club are not. They remain the same as they did after Montanier left. Stagnant.

David Moyes sacked. Spoke to a journalist at Marca about him this morning. "He's considered a huge waste of money by those at Real Sociedad"

Indeed other clubs may have benefited more than La Real.
Moyes helped Barça to change and win the treble, all the best to him and his family.

And Everton supporters have outlined what might be his biggest issue.
Feel for David Moyes. Excels in the second half of the season, struggles in the first. Hope he finds a patient club he can build with.

Moyes might not have succeeded in Spain, but there are plenty who think he won’t have trouble finding another job back in England.
Indeed the speculation has already begun.
If Gary Monk is sacked by Swansea, think that Moyes will be the next man in. Wouldn't be the worst appointment in the World.

Two plus two might equal many more than four, but Swansea would seem a decent-ish fit for Moyes. Bwin offering 25/1.
