What’s going on at Anfield?
When Jurgen Klopp joined the club, the message was clear – he would have the first and last word on player recruitment. The infamous ‘transfer committee’ would be a useful sounding board but he would be in charge.
As such there was wild speculation about who exactly the German would sign in January’s transfer window. Predictably, many of the touted names were plying their trade in the Bundesliga.
The likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mario Götze and Neven Subotic have all been touted as potential recruits. But thus far, the incomings have been decidedly underwhelming – and the fans aren’t happy.
Here are just a few of the disenchanted voices…
Signed Caulker, linked with Shane Long, & Mignolet gets a long contract extension. I dread to think what our next move will be.

I refuse to believe that Steven Caulker is one of Jurgen Klopp's signings as well, what a joke.

The fans may be underwhelmed, but Klopp is adamant that he is hiring the players…
