Who knew Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson were so close?
The Liverpool and England duo will require adjacent hotel rooms for the Reds’ away games next season, according to documents published by the Daily Star.
An extensive list of demands also includes smoking rooms for Jurgen Klopp and assistant Peter Krawietz, while Philippe Coutinho requires a fan in his room. We’re not sure whether that means a regular burst of cool air or someone to repeatedly tell him how great he is.

Some of the rules seem eminently sensible – the ban on alcohol in the players’ minibars is a no-brainer, while double beds and the absence of noise above and below should ensure the squad is well-rested for all that gegenpressing they’ll need to do.
But we can’t help but notice the request for envelopes with players’ names on. Now, doesn’t that remind you of something else Liverpool-related?

We just hope Klopp hasn’t unwittingly brought back painful memories of those dark days early in Brendan Rodgers’ tenure, purely for the sake of being organised on away trips.
In the meantime, we’re just going to be left wondering why it’s so important that Lallana and Henderson are kept side-by-side. Answers on a postcard, please.
