Brendan Rodgers won’t be in a charitable mood against Aston Villa given the pressure he’s under, but it’s great to see Liverpool supporting the Global Goals initiative with a special one-off kit.
The campaign’s symbol will adorn the famous red jersey instead of their usual sponsor, Standard Chartered, as the Reds raise awareness of the fight to end extreme poverty, inequality and tackle climate change by 2030.
