No time has been wasted removing Liverpool star Mamadou Sakho from FIFA 16.
Gamers quickly noticed that Sakho could no longer be selected on the game.
FIFA 16 makers EA Sports didn’t hesitate making the decision to completely remove the French defender from the game after he was found to have failed a drugs test.
The Liverpool man was handed an initial 30 day ban by Uefa after a sample he gave tested positive for banned substances.
He did not request a B sample analysis to be carried out and did not challenge the decision, according to the BBC.
Sakho, who was questioned by Uefa over the sample given following the second leg of their Europa League clash with Manchester United, has been suspended by Liverpool pending the full outcome of the football governing body’s disciplinary hearing.
EA Sports explained that Sakho’s removal reflects changes and absences from Premier League squads in real life.
The France international, who could now miss Euro 2016, was missing from the Liverpool team and reserves and will only be reinstated on the game once his ban is lifted.

Some fans on Twitter criticised EA Sports’ quick reaction in removing the centre back from the game compared with the time it took to delete child sex offender Adam Johnson after his conviction last month.
EA Removed Sakho from FIFA 16 because he has a 30 day ban for using PED's. Yet they can't remove Adam Johnson a convicted paedophile? ??

Paedophile Adam Johnson couldn't be removed from FIFA 16 but didn't take them to remove Sakho, due to his failed drugs test. @EASPORTSFIFA
