Jurgen Klopp’s tenure as Liverpool boss has gotten off to a pretty rough start already – and his team haven’t even played a game yet.
After losing Jose Gomez and Danny Ings for the season, it now looks as if Klopp may have to do without Philippe Coutinho for this weekend’s trip to White Hart Lane.
According to The Independent, the Brazilian playmaker is doubtful for Saturday’s action with a groin injury and could be joined on the sidelines by Dejan Lovren.
Klopp already knew that he would have to deal with the losses of summer signings Christian Benteke and Roberto Firmino for the start of his reign, but this has made a difficult job that much trickier.
First Gomez, now Danny Ings. How much longer are Liverpool fans going to remain patient with Klopp's faltering reign at Anfield?
