There’s no doubting his ability.
Liverpool fans are quite rightly cock-a-hoop about securing the immense talents of Naby Keita over the summer. The Guinean international is one of the most complete midfield prospects in world football, and worth every penny of the £48m release clause that the Merseyside club triggered for his services next season.
But he is known for being a bit of a rash player with a hot head. A recent record of three sendings off for club and country in only seven games was testament to that. Still, some Liverpool fans would welcome a bit of bite in a team that has been labelled ‘too nice’ at times.
Naby Keïta has been sent off 3 times this season for club & country:

But the 22-year-old’s most recent indiscretion is somewhat more serious. He has fallen foul of the German authorities for reportedly submitting forged identification. It is alleged that Keita used a fake Guniean driving license in order to receive an EU driving licence. German prosecutors are likely to charge him with a huge €100,000 fine for the offence.

Liverpool fans will be hoping the drive he’s meant to add to their midfield will be the real deal.
