If anyone was still in any doubt about how good Manchester City’s £55m new boy Kevin De Bruyne actually is, this will silence them.
The attacking midfielder, who signed from over the summer, was lining up for his native Belgium against Andorra in Euro 2016 qualifying.
It’s fair to say he’s been in fine goal-scoring form, and it continued in his country’s 4-1 victory over the European minnows.
This pin-point free kick was De Bruyne’s fifth goal in six appearances for club and country…and it was pretty special.
It sent Belgium on the way to the top of the group ahead of Wales.
With David Silva and Sergio Aguero injured, City may need this finishing ability in the Manchester derby on October 25.
