Since Manuel Pellegrini announced that he would be departing the Etihad at the end of the season, Manchester City have drifted slightly in the title race.
Defeats at home to Leicester City and Tottenham were damaging enough, but a 3-0 humbling by Liverpool at Anfield left City in danger of missing out on the Premier League’s top four entirely.
Although a comfortable win over Aston Villa helped get them back on track, City supporters were quick to question Pellegrini’s selection for their game against Norwich City.
The inclusion of Wilfried Bony ahead of Kelechi Iheanacho appeared to be the biggest bone of contention…
So Bony gets rewarded for his dismal display last week with a start today over Sterling and Kelechi. Absurd stuff from Pellegrini.

Hope Bony can justify his place today, but it's yet another bizarre selection by Pellegrini. He's certainly not in on merit after Villa.

Bony starts up front for City is Pellegrini out of his fucking mind?

In fact, some City fans were so full or rage at the decision they decided to start making their feelings known to the club’s official Twitter account.
