Real Madrid’s latest signing hasn’t got off to the best of starts at his new club.
Mateo Kovacic, who moved from Inter Milan on a six-year deal, made a bit of a blunder addressing the fans and media for the first time.
Kovacic ended his speech with the phrase ‘Bon dia a tots,’ which means “Good day, everyone”… in Catalan.
Considering the club’s arch rivals Barcelona hail from Catalunya, Kovacic’s honest mistake wasn’t well received by the Madrid faithful.

This comes after Kovacic’s driver made a pretty embarrassing error after his first training session at Madrid.
He missed a turning while leaving the ground and continued driving the wrong way down a one-way road.
Let’s hope the Croat’s first couple of days at his new club aren’t an omen for his future in Spain.
