You don’t often see Georges St-Pierre riled.
But the typically stoic MMA legend was provoked into shouting profanities at upcoming opponent Michael Bisping backstage after a press conference to promote UFC 217.
Having been away from the fight game for the best part of four years, St-Pierre will return to the Octagon in three weeks in an unfamiliar weight class as he attempts to wrest the UFC middleweight title from defending champion Bisping.
Madison Square Garden will host the bout, which headlines the stacked UFC 217 card on November 4, and there will be no shortage of fireworks by the time ‘The Count’ welcomes GSP back to action.

The pair were squared off by UFC President Dana White on Friday in front of the gathered press at a media day in Toronto and tempers flared when Bisping reached out and touched St-Pierre’s face.
Security was on hand to keep the fighters apart but Bisping wasn’t content to leave it there and confronted his Canadian rival backstage.
“If you put your hands on a man, that means you’ve got a problem,” Bisping said. “You keep your fucking hands to yourself or else I will knock you the fuck out right now.”
St-Pierre is renowned for his ability to keep his cool but it’s clear that Bisping is under his skin as ‘Rush’ told him, in no uncertain terms, to “fuck off.”
Say what you will about Michael Bisping but his ability to make you want to see his fights has never been in doubt.
