This is why people trust Google more than Bing.
Microsoft’s search engine Bing tried to get in on the Rugby World Cup action by releasing their predictions for the tournament.
Bing uses past performances as well as social media sentiments to predict the outcome of each game. They say that the same system correctly predicted 15 of the 16 games it was used for at football’s 2014 World Cup.
But we’re finding it hard to take it all that seriously due to some pretty basic errors. Not only did they mix up the semi-final draw (England should face Ireland, not New Zealand) but they also forgot how to spell Uruguay and Wales.
