And now the poor f**ker has to go and play for Aston Villa.
If Mile Jedinak is sad now, wait until he returns to the Sky Bet Championship. Wait until he’s playing alongside Ashley bloody Westwood.
The Australian midfielder was demoted as Crystal Palace captain in a move that was said to upset the dressing room and it is quite the coup for Roberto Di Matteo to pick up the 32-year-old for Villa.

Jedinak has been a popular figure throughout his time at Crystal Palace and posted a touching farewell to the club’s supporters as news of his move to Villa was confirmed.

Alan Pardew’s decision to let him go, coming within days of Yannick Bolasie’s move to Everton, has not been a popular one with Palace fans.  Pardew, who has guided Palace to just two league wins this calendar year, has allowed a good player, a popular figure and an all-round nice guy to leave the club – something that was never likely to be received well by supporters.
Sell Jedinak and Jimmy Mac is injured for weeks.
Alan Pardew; the gift that keeps on giving.

Jedinak-less Palace travel to White Hart Lane on Saturday where they face Tottenham Hotspur. A defeat there will only further increase the ill-feeling of fans towards their manager. Surely it’s too soon to start talking managerial casualties?
