Bristol Marunde will be consuming his meals through a straw for the next while.
The Resurrection Fighting Alliance fighter fought for a welterweight title last week and looked on course to win the belt off champion Gilbert Smith.
Unfortunately for Marunde, his opponent unleashed a haymaker out of nowhere that hit his jaw like a tsunami.

Marunde knew immediately that his jaw had been broken and submitted verbally giving Smith the TKO victory.
After the fight, Marunde expressed his disappointment with the outcome of the fight on Twitter and confirmed that his jaw had been broken by the heavy blow.

He then uploaded a photo to Instagram which showed the extent of the break. It sounds pretty damn nasty.
