Need we tell you more?
Yoel Romero (13-3, 9-2 UFC) has fought twice for the middleweight strap, losing by decision to Robert Whittaker on both occasions. He’s 41 years old and has never looked better. The Olympic silver medalist only started MMA in his early 30s but has had a very impressive run. He’s knocked out former UFC champions Chris Weidman, Luke Rockhold and Lyoto Machida.
Paulo Costa (12-0, 4-0 UFC) has a 100% finish rate.
No, your eyes don’t deceive you, he’s finished every single one of his opponents – 11 knockouts, one submission. He’s already knocked out former UFC champion Johny Hendricks and TUF winner Uriah Hall inside the Octagon.
This matchup will take place at UFC 230 in New York’s Madison Square Garden on November 3. It joins two other elite middleweight bouts – Rockhold vs Weidman, the rematch, and David Branch vs Jacare Souza.

It’s almost as if the UFC heard Eddie Alvarez talk about defending his ‘most violent man’ title in Calgary this weekend and said, ‘Hold my beer.’
