Not content to throw his weight around on the pitch exclusively, Scott Brown proved that he’s also not afraid to get stuck in Rangers management if it comes to it.
Brown was dragged away from Gers boss Pedro Caixinha at half-time of the first Old Firm clash of the season on Saturday after Caixinha uttered something to the Celtic captain while he made his way down the Ibrox tunnel at the break.
Having taken umbrage with an aerial challenge from Brown on Alfredo Morelos just moments earlier, Caixinha confronted Brown on the touchline but the Scot didn’t back down an inch.

The Hoops scored two second-half goals to continue their terrific recent record against their fiercest rivals but the clash between Brown and Caixinha dominated much of Saturday’s post-match discussion.
Caixinha spoke about his encounter with Brown during his post-match press conference and revealed that he’d warned the midfielder that Brown wouldn’t get away an elbow on him if they shared the pitch together.
“I was angry at half-time, did you see it? I can tell you because I’m clear and open-minded,” Caixinha said, via the Daily Record.
“It’s the second time it happened, it was the same in April with the same actor from one team and a different actor from the other team.
“I saw an elbow from Brown and I told the fourth official, who was on the same line as me. But the referee let it go.
“Brown was coming off and I told him: ‘You do that, but if I was on the pitch you wouldn’t!'”
Brown’s post-match reaction to the coming-together was a little more succinct and a lot more aggressive as he took to Instagram to deliver a message to the Portuguese coach.
