Leicester is truly a city on a high following their unlikely Premier League victory this week.
Fans all around the city having been getting into the party spirit celebrating their title win and with one final home game against Everton this Saturday, this weekend will see the sort of party football fans will remember for decades.
Which is why charity worker Tom Gill was so eager to make it down for the weekend.
Earlier this week we reported that Tom, a charity worker and lifelong Foxes fan was looking for a ticket for this weekend’s game after selling his bike to afford plane tickets from Uganda (where he runs charity East Africa Playgrounds) to Leicester.
In a wonderful story, a lovely Everton fan has offered Tom his ticket to this weekend’s game.
In a message on Facebook, Tom outlines his plans for the weekend.
“King Power here he comes!” reads the message, as Tom makes the 6,500km journey from Uganda to Leicester for a 36hours he surely won’t forget. Or remember. We imagine they’ll be quite a lot of Vardy bombs going spare.
Have a great weekend Tom. Try not to party too hard now.
