There were a lot of empty seats.
Arsenal beat West Ham United three-nil on Wednesday night in a routine win at the Emirates.
Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud got the goals for Arsene Wenger’s side, to move them above Manchester United on goal difference and into fifth position.
It was a much needed win for Wenger and the team, after what has been a dismal second half of the season.
However, there wasn’t exactly a full-house there to witness the comfortable victory.
Apparently there were 59,961 tickets sold for the game, but there certainly wasn’t that many people in the stadium.
Several people in attendance tweeted photos of a sparse looking Emirates stadium.

According to some on social media, there was a protest planned against Wenger – yes, another one – dubbed ‘Protest 13’.
The plan was for fans to not take their seats until the 13th minute in a show of defiance against the club’s manager – as it’s been 13 years since Arsenal won the title.
The world has continued to spin on its axis in that time, and people experience actual hardship on a daily basis.
But Arsenal fans are, of course, the real victims here because the football team they chose to follow has failed to finish above every other team in the English top flight in the last 13 years.
Arsenal fans' planned protest to not show up until the 13th minute is to show the amount of years since Arsenal last won the PL title. #afc

However, others weren’t convinced that the low attendance was due to the latest ‘Wenger Out’ protest.
Some reckon the no-shows was due to it being a midweek game, against a mid-table team and because of the strong feelings of apathy around the club at the moment.
