Look, we appreciate that the Champions League knock-out stages are a big deal, but is there any need for this?
Aside from billing the first leg of their tie with Chelsea as ‘The New Classic’, Paris Saint-Germain’s Twitter feed has been treating its followers to a series of outlandish images.
Each tweet features a picture of a different PSG player, and is accompanied by a sentence detailing the specific qualities that make up a ‘legend’… it’s all a little bit too pretentious.

(What does that even mean?)

This one at least makes some kind of sense…

Finally, after exhausting most of the PSG squad, even poor Gianni Infantino is roped into it…

Clearly, they’ve been waiting for this one for a while over in the French capital.
It’s almost as if PSG are winning their domestic league at a canter and are desperately craving some form of big game…
