Football club mascots come in all shapes and sizes, from lovable dinosaur Gunnersaurus to West Ham’s Orwellian tool-with-a-face Hammerhead.
However Partick Thistle have perhaps got a bit too real with their new mascot, designed by Scottish artist David Shrigley.

While it’s not quite clear what it is supposed to be, it is possible that this is what Scottish people think the sun looks like.
