The man loves to dab.
In 20 years’ time, when they build a statue of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard outside Old Trafford, it will be of the pair dabbing.
Across from the statue of George Best, Denis Law and Sir Bobby Charlton, Manchester United’s holy trinity, will be a statue of of Lingard and Pogba, United’s legendary dabbing duo
Older fans will tell youngsters tales of how the pair’s dance moves, world class haircuts and social media posts captured the imagination of people across the land. Debates will rage about who was better at dabbing, Lingard or Pogba?
This latest dab from Pogba might just have settled that debate long in advance. The United midfielder took part in a charity game in Colombia, organised by his former Juventus teammate Juan Cuadrado, and possibly secured his status as football’s greatest dabber in the process.
Pogba rounded the goalkeeper, and had an open goal at his mercy. He tapped the ball towards the goal, and dabbed as it rolled over the line. He then dabbed again, just to confirm that he f****** loves to dab.
It will take a truly special dab for Lingard to top this effort from Pogba.
