Paul Pogba’s agent hits out at press over transfer coverage

Still waiting.

If Premier League fans weren’t familiar with Mino Raiola before this summer, they sure are now.

The Dutch agent was already well-known in some circles for his work with the likes of Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but his representation of Paul Pogba has thrust the 48-year-old into the spotlight.

Raiola is reportedly set to receive a huge chunk of change if and when Pogba’s record-breaking move back to Manchester United is completed (and we’re fairly confident it’s ‘when’), but has not been too enamoured with press coverage of the transfer saga.

Now we’re really confused. We thought that adidas video which might be a none-too-subtle confirmation of the deal.

The Man United badge. The Stormzy cameo. The decision to have the Frenchman revert to English for the ‘first never follows’ slogan. That was it, right? Wrong.

Raiola’s earlier ‘bla bla bla’ statement seemed to inspire the video, but there’s still no confirmation from Juventus or Manchester United regarding the move.

Gonzalo Higuain’s move to Turin was meant to have paved the way for the Pogba deal to be completed.

Juventus bolstering their midfield with Miralem Pjanic and Mario Lemina was meant to have cleared the way for the Frenchman’s departure.

But he’s still there, after some 1,488,279,301* reports that a deal was imminent.

We’ll just have to wait until either a deal is confirmed or the transfer window closes. After all, wasn’t David de Gea to Real Madrid a done deal around this time last year?

(*a rough estimate)
