Take today’s example, comes courtesy of French striker Antoinne Griezmann. Tipped to be one of the leading lights of Euro 2016, the Atletico Madrid frontman bagged his first goal of the tournament in the recent win over Albania.
Now, days after they confirmed the hosts confirmed their spot in the next round as winners of Group A, a bizarre Vine of the Griezmann has started doing the rounds.
The footage shows Griezmann sitting alongside Laurent Koscielny on a team flight. Maintaining eye contact with the camera, the 25-year-old is given a what appears to be a chocolate muffin before sliding out of view behind his head rest. It’s all a bit weird, if we’re being honest.
‘Quand tu as réussi à avoir le dernier dessert mais que tu veux pas partager,’ reads the caption accompanying the vine.
Having quickly consulted our French dictionary, we can tell you that this loosely translates to:
‘When you take the last dessert but you don’t want to share.’
To be honest Antoine mate, there’s no danger of us standing between you and your muffin with that look on your face.
