Peter Schmeichel has a lot of bragging material for his personal bio on Twitter, should he want to use it.
The renowned Danish goalkeeper was part of Manchester United’s legendary treble-winning team, and his collection of honours for the Red Devils includes five Premier League titles, three FA Cups, one League Cup and a UEFA Champions League winners medal.
But after son Kasper and his Leicester City teammates made sporting history this week, defying 5000/1 odds to win the Premier League for the first time, Schmeichel Sr made an alteration to his profile that suggests that this might just be his proudest moment of all.
His new biography simply reads: “Father to a Premierleague winner”.
Schmeichel also posted a series of tweets congratulating Leicester players and staff for their monumental achievement.
Congratulations to @kschmeichel1 and his @LCFC teammates for winning @premierleague 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾

Proud does not cover it. Can't find the right words. (I can but they'll block my account if I use them!) https://t.co/xQ2Eqm7MCe

And although we don’t like to blow our own trumpet too much, we will just point out that he seemed to quite enjoy our own tribute to the fantastic Foxes, too.
Brilliant👏👍😄 https://t.co/GwMyheFVLi
