Wayne Rooney decided to have a bit of banter at the expense of former Man United keeper Anders Lindegaard recently, naming the Dane as the team-mate he’d least like to be stuck in an elevator with.
When asked for the reason in his interview with Sport magazine, Rooney simply replied that Lindegaard is “just annoying”.
Some might take offence to this, but knowing the code of the dressing room Lindegaard knew it was just a joke and decided to respond in kind on Twitter, recalling an embarrassingly-timed screenshot of the pair in action against Arsenal in the past.
