If you’re eating, move on to another story and come back to us.
This is disgusting.
Sligo footballer Stephen Coen has done his best to divorce the nation from its lunch by posting this image of a very, very horrific injury to Twitter.
It’s got blood and the tip of a finger hanging at an angle that we’ll just describe as… unfriendly.
Why are we posting this? Well, it is nearly Halloween and you need to be prepared for some of the horrific images heading your way.
Now, brace yourself…
…keep bracing…
…and scroll…
…and keep scrolling…
…ready?

Well, we did warn you.
“I know now how girls feel when they loose one of there (sic) nails,” he quipped, with more of a sense of humour than we would have if half our finger was hanging on by the skin.
There is no word on exactly how he came by this injury, but that doesn’t make it any less horrific.
And yet somehow we can’t look away. Anyway, here’s that young Stephen makes a full recovery as soon as possible. We’ve got our fingers cross for you Stephen. (Too soon?)
