Celtic’s new shirt has been leaked online, complete with new sponsor and collar

Yes, it is green and white

You might think that it’s difficult to put a fresh spin on green hoops but Celtic have somewhat mixed things up ahead of the 2016/17 season.

Fresh from their Scottish Cup semi-final elimination at the hands of arch-rivals Rangers, photographs of next season’s Celtic home kit emerged online.

Don’t worry, new kit designer New Balance haven’t gone too extreme with changing things up as they, of course, have stayed faithful to the traditional green and white design that has made it one of the most recognisable kits in world football.

Where there is an update, though, is with the main sponsor as Magners has been replaced with betting company Dafabet on the front of the jersey in leaked pictures released by reliable website FootyHeadlines.com.

Another amendment comes with the return of the traditional white collar with gold trim which has been missing in recent seasons.

For those who need a refresher on what Celtic’s current home jersey looks like, check out the below picture which also highlights the difference in the green hoops which, in the new one are much bolder.
