If you’re preparing for your first ever major international tournament, you’re bound to put a lot of effort into getting everything spot on.
While Iceland can’t be delighted to be up against Cristiano Ronaldo in the group stages, there’s not a lot they could have done about that.
Their kit, on the other hand, is one thing they’ve had control over.
And the Icelandic FA, along with manufacturers Errea, have done a more than decent job.

The design is loyal to the blue, white and red Icelandic flag while containing a flourish in the form of a neat vertical stripe.
The white away kit is just as impressive, while it’s not clear yet which of the black and yellow versions are goalkeeper kits (they may both be).
Oh, and did we mention there’s an ice-heavy promo video to go along with it? Ice. Iceland. Geddit. It’s not the most subtle.
