Dejan Lovren could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after a horrendous-looking knee injury sustained against West Brom saw the defender stretchered off.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were held 2-2 at Anfield and their defensive woes continued with the Croatian going down under a challenge from Craig Gardner.

It turns out that Divock Origi bagged the equaliser and the manager’s balls paid off somewhat, but the injury was hard to look at.
1. Lovren gives the ball away
He won’t do that again (well, he will).
2. So he chases after to retrieve it.
3. Gardner gets to the ball first.
4. Lovren comes charging in front of Gardner.
5. He gets the block in but Gardner’s momentum is taking him on through.
6. You can see where this is going.
7. Lovren’s knee bends completely the wrong way.
Get well soon.
