Nobody will have enjoyed the World Cup win more than Paul Pogba.
Pogba has been one of the most heavily criticised players in world football in recent years and while some of the criticism has been fair in terms of his performances, he has had to endure some nonsensical reasons for ridicule as complaints over his haircuts and social media presence were used against him.
Pogba has had the last laugh, however, as he got his hands on the most coveted trophy in the game by scoring in the World Cup final on Sunday.
France claimed a 4-2 victory over Croatia and became world champions for a second time, with Pogba playing a starring role.

The likes of Graeme Souness, Paul Scholes and Eamon Dunphy have been some of the more vocal critics of Pogba but they won’t have much to say now that he will return to Manchester United a world champion.
And Patrice Evra delivered a message to the Pogba haters right after the 25-year-old found the net for Les Bleus.
“Respect him! Respect! Why do you always talk bullshit about my brother?” the former United and France left-back said.

“Why do you always talk bullshit about him? Respect him!
“Oh my goodness! I can’t wait, Paul. I can’t wait for you to get back to England with the trophy. I swear I will do the same hair.
“Respect my brother! Respect him! Are you crazy or what?”
