Barely 12 months ago, Dele Alli was part of the MK Dons team that humbled Manchester United 4-0 in the League Cup.
But the midfielder has come a long way in the last year, to the point that Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be lining up a move for the teenager.
Alli has still played fewer than 20 games for current club Tottenham since signing in January, but French publication Le 10 Sport claims the 19-year-old was watched by PSG scouts during Spurs’ Europa League defeat to Anderlecht.
The youngster has impressed so much this season that he earned himself an England debut against Estonia, and is in with a shot at a place in the Euro 2016.
And Le 10 Sport report that PSG scout Olivier Létang was in Belgium for the Europa League game – which Spurs lost 2-1 after taking an early lead – to run the rule over Alli.
He would be the first Englishman to join the Parisian club since David Beckham’s loan spell in the French capital in 2013.
