In the wake of Crystal Palace unveiling Emanuel Adebayor, Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores mischievously suggested that he only signed players that knew about his club.
The Togolese striker signed for Palace earlier in the week, but confessed he would have to use Google to learn a bit more about his new teammates.
The Hornets were said to be interested in Adebayor, but it seems their manager could at least make light of his decision to head to Selhurst Park instead of Vicarage Road.
Jokingly, he claimed: “Players who sign for Watford already know all about us.”
Having bolstered his Watford squad with the acquisition of winger Nordin Amrabat and goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon, Flores is also reportedly close to completing a deal for Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez.
