Prepare yourself for the final five months of Cristiano Ronaldo in the iconic white of Real Madrid.
While reports have flown around for years that Ronaldo’s time at the Bernabeu was coming to an end, the latest report suggests that the Portuguese is definitely ready to move on.
In an exclusive with the Telegraph, an insider source at Real claim that Ronaldo will not be playing in La Liga come the end of the season.
Despite the appointment of Zinedine Zidane, under whom many believed Ronaldo would flourish, the source claims that Gareth Bale will be the star player for club president Florentino Perez.
It’s believed to be a two-horse race between Manchester United and PSG for the services of Ronaldo where sentimentality will go head to head against the spending power of the Ligue 1 outfit.
The source is quoted as saying; “Out of Bale and Ronaldo, Ronaldo is the player expected to leave the club. Bale is still seen as the future, whereas Ronaldo’s best years may now be behind him.
“PSG are desperate to sign him and would be favourites at the moment, but United will no doubt try.”
