The long awaited rematch is in the works.
It’s hard to believe that it has been exactly three months since Conor McGregor’s undefeated streak in the UFC came to an end at UFC 196.
Despite only having only 11 days to prepare for the fight,  Nate Diaz was impressive in dispatching ‘The Notorious’ via a second-round submission but since that moment, we’ve seen their highly anticipated rematch at UFC 200 fall by the wayside after McGregor refused to leave his training camp in Iceland to perform promotional duties.
McGregor has since backtracked on his much publicised decision to retire and the incredibly reliable MMA journalist Ariel Helwani believes that the two are finally going to meet at UFC 202.
UFC 202 takes place on August 20 in Las Vegas and their welterweight meeting could be very tasty.
