Liverpool fans go get some new pants.
Jurgen Klopp is no miracle worker but that may need to be revised if this report from the Independent proves to be accurate.
The paper’s Wednesday morning back page suggests a possible deal for Steven Gerrard to return to Liverpool – and not just in a much-expected coaching role.
The former Liverpool captain admitted earlier this week that he may hang up his boots in 2016, but according to the Indy Klopp is hoping Gerrard may wear the famous red jersey again.

The report states that Klopp has spoken to Gerrard several times since taking over at Liverpool last month and that the German wants the club’s iconic midfielder to set the standards expected of players at Anfield.
The Independent go on to state that Klopp is keen for Gerrard to train at Melwood until January 15th and that there may be the possibility of a transfer – depending on whether LA Galaxy would part with the midfielder so soon into his three-year deal.
Naturally Liverpool fans are very excited by the news…
Gerrard would be a mad supersub under Klopp. At least that what my heart wishes would be the case
