Hopefully Jose Mourinho or Antonio Conte picked up the Liverpool Echo on Friday evening.
If they did, both Premier League managers would have found an absolute bargain in the classified ads section.
There’s a wooden table for sale in Liverpool for just £10, it’s ideal for the side of your chair and would also suit a caravan, apparently.
Romelu Lukaku is also for sale, and for £85.
That’s significantly less than the £70m Everton reportedly want for the 24-year-old striker.
Lukaku has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park for months, and it appears one disgruntled Everton fan, or the player himself, has taken matters into their own hands.
Here’s the ad:
It reads:
“Top class player unwanted at Everton. Very Good Price. International £85 @ Everton or call Uncle Bill Kenwright. Or Fahrad Moshiri will also take the call.”
It seems like both Everton fans and Lukaku will be happy to part ways. The 24-year-old refused to sign a new contract towards the end of last season, and Evertonians don’t want a player on the books who is interested in being there.
So, if you’re interested in signing Lukaku, just give Everton’s owner or chairman a call and quote the ad in Friday’s Liverpool Echo.
