More bad news for Rousey

Ronda Rousey’s head coach and main cornerman, Edmond Tarverdyan, has officially lost his seconds licence in the state of California.

Glendale Fighting Club’s Tarverdyan had the licence revoked for allegedly “falsifying his application” in relation to a 2010 arrest.

The divisive coach has come under fire in recent months for how he dealt with Rousey’s defeat at the hands of Holly Holm in November.

Many have criticised the lack of enlightening advice from Rousey’s corner in between the first and second round of UFC 193’s main event.

in their UFC women's bantamweight championship bout during the UFC 193 event at Etihad Stadium on November 15, 2015 in Melbourne, Australia.

The revocation news was initially broken by Sherdog.com‘s Greg Savage and it is understood that Tarverdyan’s appeal will be heard at the California State Athletic Commission’s next meeting on February 2.

Rule 210b reads: ‘Falsification in whole or in part of a material fact or presentation on any application for a license shall result in a license being denied, and if previously granted, revoked unless otherwise ordered by the commission.’
