Having been relieved of his England duties after just one game, Sam Allardyce will have to look abroad for his next managerial job.
That’s the view of bookmakers Betway, at least, who fancy the disgraced former England manager to wash up on the other side of the Atlantic.
As of lunchtime today, a move to any Major League Soccer team was priced at evens with the sportsbook, with a move to Championship strugglers Derby County available at 4/1.
The Rams seem poised to part ways with current incumbent Nigel Pearson, who was suspended by the club ahead of last night’s victory over Cardiff City.

Other possibilities are a move to the Chinese Super League (7/1), a return to Bolton (also 7/1) or a further stint at former clubs Blackburn (8/1) or Sunderland (9/1).
Former England boss Sven-Göran Eriksson is currently managing in China, with his Shanghai SIPG team currently fourth in the table, while several English coaches including former Newcastle United boss John Carver have had spells in MLS.
Allardyce has spoken only briefly following the termination of his England contract, telling Sky Sports he feels “very hurt” by the turn of events, and claiming he only attended the filmed meeting as a favour to a friend.
