Sergio Aguero admits he wants to play for another manager

It's not David Moyes...

Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero’s five-goal haul against Newcastle recently reminded us all that he is undoubtedly one of the finest finishers in world football.

If a day ever came when City needed the money – and let’s face it, that’s not likely – we’re sure there’d be no shortage of potential suitors for the Argentine.

With an international break seen by some as the ideal opportunity to whip up some transfer speculation, some are even suggesting that Aguero’s recent comments about Pep Guardiola are a hint that he may fancy departing the Etihad at some point in the future.

“I would like to be coached by him in the future because he is a great coach,” Aguero is quoted as saying in the Mirror.

But hang on, there’s more:

“But today I’m so happy with Manuel Pellegrini.”

The current City boss signed a contract extension until 2017 at the Etihad, which means he should be sticking around for a while.

And expressing his desire to play for Guardiola doesn’t necessarily mean that Aguero has his eye on a move to Munich.

After all, there’s been plenty of speculation suggesting that the former Barca manager is set to be the next boss at City.
