Liverpool may just be clinging on to their place in the top half of the Premier League table but their defence is leaking goals.
With 36 goals conceded in the Premier League this season, the Reds have let in more than all but five sides – Bournemouth, Newcastle, Norwich, Sunderland and Aston Villa.
And it’s not as if they’ve all been unsaveable screamers that have flown into the top corner. More often than not, they’ve been defensive mistakes that have resulted in the ball being bundled into the net.
Shockingly, two of the three players that are most prone to defensive errors in the league are Liverpool players with Simon Mignolet and Emre Can joining Everton’s Gareth Barry.

No wonder Jurgen Klopp is laughing a lot less nowadays.
