Steven Gerrard scored the decisive goalĀ for LA Galaxy in their narrow victory against FC Dallas.
The former England skipper put his side 3-1 up as Dallas failed to clear a corner kick.
Although Galaxy conceded another, they held on for a 3-2 victory. The other goals were scored by Robbie Keane and Giovani dos Santos, with the Mexican’s flicked finish particularly special.

This was only Gerrard’s second goal since his move to America, but the victory now puts LA Galaxy top of the Western Conference.
“I haven’t had a problem with my confidence. I think the goal was good for the team,” Gerrard told reporters after the game.
“I said last week, we’re at the business end of the season,” he added.
“It’s all about three points and not about individuals, tallies and who gets what, but it’s about the team getting three points. It’s a big result for us.”
