But this altercation with Colorado midfielder Juan Ramirez shows the former Liverpool man still has his mischievous streak.
If there’s anything funnier than a man having a football smacked into his face while lying on the ground, we’re yet to see it.
Had Sir Alex Ferguson been in the stands, though, then he’d have probably complained that Ramirez could have been killed.
