It looks like Stoke’s move for Xherdan Shaqiri is back on after the winger was pictured in the stands for the Potters’ opening game of the season against Liverpool.
The Inter Milan forward was the subject of Stoke’s interest earlier in the summer, but Mark Hughes reportedly pulled the plug on the deal after Shaqiri failed to give him a prompt answer.
However, the transfer could now be close to completion after the Swiss international was told he’s surplus to requirements at the San Siro.
If Stoke do manage to secure Shaqiri’s signature, it will represent a huge coup…
