It’s all about the delivery, Terry mate…
As much as many of us (though probably not all of us) have a soft for Terry Butcher, it’s safe to say not everyone was won over by his attempt to inject a bit of humour into the Friday night match between Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Rangers.
Or at least that’s what we think he was trying to do.
Appearing as a co-commentator for BT Sport on the game, Butcher was (as goes with the territory for most co-commentators these days) already attracting a few less than complimentary comments about his performance behind the microphone…
Terry Butcher is as bad a commentator as he was a manager. Absolutely shocking

A player received some instructions on a piece of paper. Not something you see happen every game, but also not that big of a deal, really.
We *think* Terry was trying to imply that the list that had been passed on to the field of play was actually a shopping list, hence his attempts to say something about (creamy?) milk.
Needless to say, viewers were never not going to pounce on…
"Pints of milky…two pints of milk…cream milk or something" says Terry Butcher about I don't even know what

Poor Terry. It’s not as if he got ridiculously excited about a throw in, is it?
