They’re going to do it. They’re bloody well going to do it.
Leicester City will avoid relegation.
Claudio Ranieri’s men march on. Six points clear at the top of the Premier League, second place Manchester City were humbled on their own turf.
Riyad Mahrez and co kept this unbelievable run going and, with just 13 games remaining in the Premier League, they must now be favourites to win the title.
But their run is made all the more remarkable when you consider the amount of money to put together the two teams on the field at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.
Even without Kevin de Bruyne, Man City boasted big-money signings like Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi.
Leicester, on the other hand, had a slightly smaller budget to work with…

You don’t need to go through each player – pound for pound – to see the difference.
So… let’s just compare one of Man City’s players with the whole Leicester team.
Otamendi cost £6 million more than the Leicester starting 11. Let that sink in for a while.

Unbelievable stuff.
