There’s widespread disgust as some Arsenal fans sing about Wenger dying

Nooruddean Choudry

This is all a bit unnecessary.

Whilst even Arsene Wenger’s biggest critics appreciate what he has done for the club and respect the Frenchman’s achievements, it seems not everyone is able to show their unhappiness in a decent manner.

The Gunners’ boss is under fire after yet another season without a Premier League trophy. Many feel that the league was there to be won earlier in the season, only for the North London club to fall away when it mattered most.

But this footage of protesting Arsenal fans singing an unsavoury song hasn’t gone down well with their fellow Gooners. The lyrics seem to go: “Au revoir, Arsene Wenger, we’ll be happy when you die in May…”

The response was swift and suitably disgusted…
