Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi appears to be relishing working alongside Thierry Henry

Quickly making a good impression

Forget all the talk about Sam Allardyce taking charge of the England team this week, the first international break of the season also sees Thierry Henry start his new job.

The former Arsenal star recently accepted an offer to join the coaching staff of newly-appointed Roberto Martinez’s Belgium team.

As the Red Devils prepare for their games against Spain and Cyprus later in the week, it seems Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi is already enjoying working under the former French international.

Batshuayi, who moved to London from Marseille following Belgium’s disappointing defeat to Wales in the Euro 2016 quarter finals, tweeted the following image of himself in conversation with Henry during a training session.

‘Not sure I ever listened to my parents like this,’ the tweet reads.

Arsenal fans were left disappointed by the recent news that their former striker had left the club, where he had been working with Arsenal’s junior sides, after reportedly being given an ultimatum by Arsene Wenger.

The Arsenal boss is said to have asked Henry to leave his £4m-a-year punditry role with Sky Sports and concentrate on his coaching roles at the club on a full-time basis.

Soon after, Henry’s role with Belgium was confirmed.

We’re sure Arsenal fans will be delighted to see a club legend helping one of Chelsea’s forwards.
