If you ever doubted the talent of Jamie Vardy then just look at one of the earliest goals of his senior football career.
Rewind the clock back before he scored his record 11th consecutive Premier League goal and even prior to the days he was banging in hat-tricks for Conference side Fleetwood town.
It’s way back when the prolific Leicester City man was playing for Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Northern Premier League.
The live-wire forward ran from his own half to score a wonderful solo goal against FC United of Manchester.
When he scored his historic goal against Louis van Gaal’s side at the weekend he became only the second player ever to score against Manchester United and FC United.
(For pub quiz fans the other was Norwich City’s Anthony Pilkington while playing for Atherton Collieries).
This is quite a goal though…
